There is a massive variety and a mix of typical to more artisan styled snacks. So far I have loved the stick potato snacks, pear fromage biscuits, and the apple caramel sable (its like a yummy flat cake). We’re already in June! 🌊🏄🏻‍♂️ . It’s crazy how time flies, the much anticipated summer is almost here (while the South hemisphere enters winter) 🥶 . This last month was full of experiences! We had the chance to discover bokksu, a monthly Japanese snack box that takes you on journey throughout each corner of the Asian country. I've been subscribed to bokksu for the last 6 months and I'm really pleased with the service so far. In the past I've tried a few other subscription boxes for Japanese snacks and bokksu is definitely my favourite. A lot of the other boxes mainly have sweets and candy, I love the selection of different flavours and textures that comes in every bokksu. And the tea!! I've also found the boxes arrive very quickly (I live in Europe) and any time there's an issue they get in touch ASAP. Really happy with the service and looking forward to my next box arriving!

There's four packages in a bag. These are very light, airy treats that fall apart in your mouth. Outside of an initial crunch they are so delicate they just melt into nutty kinako with a light toasty sweet rice flavor mixed in.

A selection of nicely packed individual cookies (and two cakes) with colorful wrappers. The basket is a real basket! It can be reused to hold anything you like. It makes a wonderful gift, though the cookies and cakes are good enough to keep to yourself. All the cookies are crunchy but the cakes are soft.

It's 10 random mochi in a Bokksu box. The last one had doubles of 4 flavors then one each of two flavors. The previous one had two each of five flavors. It really does vary depending on what they have in stock. The mochis are bite-sized and dusted with various flavors like cocoa or green tea. They're good as a small snack or to share.
