Take a trip with us to Kyushu, Japan’s southernmost island that’s home to active volcanoes, hot springs, mountains, waterfalls, and more. The island’s beauty has inspired a Studio Ghibli film (flip to our Culture Spread to find out which one!) and its luscious farmland has made it an ideal region to grow fruits like oranges and mangoes. This month, we’ve officially partnered with the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry to curate a selection of snacks made in prefectures on Kyushu and filled our pages with blues and greens reminiscent of the island’s natural landscape.
