The Treat Yourself Box
This season, it's time to put up your feet and relax. We're bringing Japan's best relaxing items, crafted by small makers to your doorstep. So put on your comfiest robe, heat up your tea kettle, and get ready for our Treat Yourself Box.
The Treat Yourself Box contains one of each of the following items.
1. Minoyaki Stained Mug
Minoyaki is a type of pottery that originated in Gifu over 1300 years ago. This dishwasher and microwave safe mug has a handpainted pattern meant to evoke stained glass.
2. Handcrafted Fragrant Kinmokusei Incense (1 Box, 10 Sticks)
Maker Kosaikodo is based in Kyoto, and they have created fragrant and gorgeous incense sticks, printed with patternsof ukiyo-e art. Each scented stick burns for 15-17 minutes, the perfect length of time for a short meditation session.
3. Nobana Strawberry Face Mask
This lovely sheet mask is infused with strawberry, ceramides, and cica that each penetrate the different layers of your skin for a supple and moisturized texture.
4. Nobana Dianthus Flower Face Mask
A sheet mask infused with ceramides and cica that is scented with lavender and nadeshiko (dianthus flower)! This mask will leave you cool, calm, collected, and moisturized.
5. Yuzu Multi Care Balm
This balm contains fresh aromatic yuzu oil from Kochi Prefecture and water from the Shimanto River. It contains six essential botanical oils, similar to that of a beeswax or vaseline. Apply it anywhere your skin could use some extra love, from nail cuticles to lips!
6. Relaxing Bath Tablets (6 Tablets)
Get ready to say ahhhh! These tablets are made with sodium bicarbonate, which can help ease muscle tension. Each colorful piece contains helpful ingredients like whey, royal jelly, jojoba oil, and hyaluronic acid. And each one has a different heavenly scent, like hinoki wood, yuzu, lily magnolia, sakura, maki plants, and suzuran flowers.
7. Imabari Washcloth
Imabari towels have been around for over 120 years! Imabari is located in Ehime Prefecture, near the Sojagawa River. Its pure water lends softness to these washcloths, which are absorbent and quite soft. The towel arrives in one of three different colored boxes.
8. Wasanbon Matcha Green Tea
Wasanbon (fine grained craft sugar) is a traditional Japanese confection. The sugar is flavored, colored, and molded using wood to create fun and beautiful creations, like this green tea-flavored treat. Like tasting a warm matcha latte on a cold winter's night.
9. Gluten-Free Sakura Matcha Gaufrettes (5 Pieces)
Arriving in a beautiful sakura box, these delicate Gaufrette cookies are delicious, healthy, and perfect for Spring. Baked with Hatsushimo brown rice flour from Gifu Prefecture, the crisp wafers are 100% gluten-free and full of calcium.
The matcha cream is made with a high-grade matcha and boasts a deep earthy flavor. These lightly sweet cookies pair well with coffee, tea, and ice cream and are a great snack for all.
