What Do the People Say? July '19 Survey Results
How do you beat the heat in the hot summer months? Summer in Japan is crazy hot and humid so of course there are many popular methods to keep cool. From ice cream and popsicles to uchiwa (handheld fans), to (our favorite method) citrus! This July, we celebrated one of the time-honored method of keeping cool by bringing our Bokksu Members a box jam-packed with treats that focused on the best of the best citrus snacks in the July Bokksu Citrus Summer!
Who Took the Survey?
This month nearly 450 Members from 41 different countries around the world participated in our survey. For 97 of the snackers, the Citrus Summer Bokksu was their first Bokksu ever! Welcome!

The Results!
The theme for this month was "Citrus Summer" and it earned an overall rating of 4.4, with 62% of respondents rating it 5 stars! The curation of snacks and teas earned a positive 4.3 rating, a perfect tie with last month.
Sweet or Savory?
45% of respondents said the balance of sweet and savory was just right. About 15% requested more savory, while about 40% want more sweet! You guys really have a sweet tooth, huh?

I LOVE Bokksu; my husband and I look forward to it every month. It is an incredible joy to sit down, read about the different snacks, and have a tea party as we try them and give our opinions on our likes and dislikes. It is an incredible experience I've enjoyed greatly!
I love the balance of savory and sweet. I love trying new snacks whether or not I like them. The citrus theme was very fun in how it was represented across the spectrum of flavors.
